EIKON EMPOWERMENT HUB
EIKON is a church and nonprofit that addresses the root causes of poverty in Oakland by empowering vulnerable individuals and families through action-driven paradigms. EIKON exists to empower the lives of the underserved and the oppressed through the love of God so that each person can experience abundant life.
God has built a special community on the corner of Telegraph Ave and 25th over the last few years. While we haven’t been able to do everything we have dreamed of for the community on that corner, we have realized that what we were doing could not be contained in the space. At the beginning of 2025, the Eikon team has been in search of a new space that could carry out the ministry God has given us but also, provide a space for us to dream. In 2026, Eikon will have a new home that will house all of our current programs, with space to grow!
We are looking forward to bringing all of our resources, partnerships, and vision to the West Oakland area. We are grateful that we will be able to stay in the neighborhood that has become our community. We are excited to share all details and updates in the coming months as things unfold. Stay tuned!
