The Greek word for image is “eikon.” People are not dead coins bearing the icon of an oppressor but every person alive bears the image of the God who created heaven and earth! The entire movement of the Kingdom of God is about reconciling each person, and all of us together, into this reality.”
Yes, we do gather on Sunday - 10:30 am at 2505 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA 94612 When this thing began, we organized around church serving - not a church service. But there’s so much going on now that we have a weekly gathering to pray, worship, learn and plan together.
We open doors at 10:30am and have coffee, tea and food together. At 11:00am worship through music and sharing, pray together and experience a time of teaching and announcements - because we have a lot going on, fam, it’s okay to hit the coffee/snack table during announcements.
We are the hands and feet of God’s love in this world. We have volunteer opportunities on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1pm and it fuels our lives - let’s go!
